Editing Your Accepted Payment Types
Pebl allows businesses to customize their accepted payment types, either on a transaction-by-transaction basis or by setting a default.
Tailoring accepted payment types for individual transactions can be advantageous when requesting large sums of money and wanting to avoid high credit or debit card fees. By limiting payment options to PayID, a flat fee is charged.
Alternatively, accepting payment from an unfamiliar customer using a credit card may increase the risk of chargebacks. In such cases, accepting payments only through PayID ensures that funds come from a verified bank account, rather than a stolen credit card.
To edit accepted payment types for a transaction, follow these steps: -
- Click the blue ‘+’ button on the Activity screen to create a new transaction.
- Enter the amount or select from your product list.
- On the payment review page, select/deselect the accepted payment types for the transaction.
- Click Create transaction to complete the payment.
To edit your default accepted payment types, follow these steps: -
- Go to Settings
- Select Payment settings
- Toggle on/off the available payment types
Whilst this will automatically set your selected payment methods to default, you will still be able to re-select on a transaction-by-transaction basis at the payment review screen.
